SCAD stands for Science, Engineering, and Applied Design. It is a four year program. Many of the classes that you take will be in the field of design. In this field you will find yourself designing products, working with engineers and architects, as well as doing any number of other jobs in the manufacturing, construction, and engineering industries.
There are many different concentrations offered within SCAD. There are also several different colleges associated with SCAD that offer various courses in this field of study.
The first course that we will cover is Introduction to SCAD. In this description you will get some idea of what SCAD is, what it is not, and how it all works. This course can be taken online or at an actual physical college or university. The internet based courses will give you a more interactive experience than going to school in person.
